Description
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin, a naturally occurring tetrapeptide found as a fragment of the immunoglobulin G heavy chain. First characterized in the late 1990s. The Pro-Gly-Pro extension confers greater persistence than the native tuftsin sequence.
